LOCATION: Newton Community School District
POSITION: Full Time Educational Associate for Specialized Behavior Program (2 open positions)
BENEFITS:
Individual medical and dental benefits are provided by the District.
STARTING WAGE: $15.01 per hour
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 7:30AM - 3:30PM (student attendance days starting August 23, 2022)


The Newton Community School District has openings for Full Time Educational Associates for the Specialized Behavior Program.
This position will be responsible to support the K-12 specialized behavior program, individual student behavior plans and provide intervention as needed. 

Requirements:
Training in behavior management and crisis management is preferred, but not necessary.
Experience working with behavior students in a structured situation is highly desired.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and have the ability to work calmly and effectively in challenging situations
