Job Description
General Responsibilities Reporting to the School Improvement/Staff Development for Early Childhood Special Education Director, the Family Resources Coordinator provides support services for children and families participating in the Early Support for Infants and Toddlers program, by identifying community resources and providing referrals and follow-up to meet IFSP goals and transition of the child to school district services at age three.
Assignment/Location: This position will provide services to ESD 112 and will work 40 hours per week, 230 days per year. Effective September 1, 2022 the salary will increase to $21.82 hourly.
A Bachelor's degree in Human Development and experience working with infants and toddlers and their families OR an Associate's degree and two years of experience working with infants and toddlers and their families.
Experience using Microsoft Office products and database software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Four years of experience working with infants and toddlers and families.
Experience working in a Early Intervention program.
Bilingual.
Working Conditions/Employment Requirements Working Conditions:
Office, community and home visit settings.
Frequent travel within ESD 112 service region.
Extended or flexible hours as necessary.
Employment Requirements:
Successful completion of a criminal history and fingerprint check through the Washington State Patrol and FBI.
Current First Aid and CPR qualification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
