Job Description
St. John’s College High School in Chevy Chase, DC is seeking candidates for a position in the Science Department, for the 2022–23 school year. St. John’s teachers are committed to their students, to innovation, and to their own professional development. The position appointment may include teaching Advanced Placement and Honors Chemistry. Candidates must be able to develop and implement pedagogical practices that connect the subject to secondary level students and motivate them to a clear understanding of the course content.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•A BA or advanced degree in a scientific field of study •Classroom teaching experience preferred •A willingness to embrace a Lasallian, Catholic educational community •A desire to belong to a faculty that embraces inclusivity, collegiality, innovative instructional practice, collaboration, a process-driven mindset, and meeting students intellectually where they are
At least 4 years of relevant experience preferred
Bachelor degree preferred
Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
