TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract School Nurse (RN or LVN) for the 2022-2023 school year:
Location: Garfield, NJ Duration: September 6, 2022 – June 27, 2023 Onsite or Virtual: On-Site Full or Part Time: Full Time Schedule: 8:3 0AM – 2:15 PM Grade/Age Levels: 17-year-old student Caseload description: 1:1 position

The minimum qualifications for a school nurse (RN or LVN):
1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a nurse RN or LVN within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum) Valid RN or LVN credential/license or in process in state of practice

Job Requirements
1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience as a Registered Nurse (Pediatrics experience is ideal, school-based RN experience is preferred) within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
Valid Nursing license or credential in the state of practice, or in process
State School Credential/License or in process where required
OR
1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience as a (LVN or LPN) (Pediatrics experience is ideal, school-based (LVN or LPN) experience is preferred) within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
Valid Nursing (LVN or LPN) California license or in process
At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
Bachelor degree preferred
Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
