Job Description
ExpertHiring is looking to hire multiple Special Education Teachers for our site in Mishawaka, IN who are looking for assignment in full school year 2022-23. This assignment would provide you an opportunity to work with great professional.
Assignment details:
Start/End date: 8.15.2022 to June 2, 2023
Number of days/week: 5 days a week/37.5 hours weekly
Number of hours/day: 7.75
Age groups of kids to be seen: K-5 & 7-12
Caseload #: Approximately 25 - all disabilities
Number of locations: 2 school
Specific certifications needed: Indiana Teacher Licenses in either Mild or Intense Interventions
Interview availability: ASAP
Duties: Standard special education teacher duties in an inclusive school district
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assess students' abilities and craft teaching plans.
Adapt learning materials to students' needs.
Keep track of and reflect on students' progress.
Monitor children's behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed.
Find engaging activities to teach skills (e.g. drawing and theatre drama)
Requirements:
Valid Indiana state license as a Special Education Teacher
1+ Years of experience working as a Special Education Teacher
