Work Calendar: 188 Days
Daily Work Hours: 7 hours
Status: Full-Time, Bargaining, Classified, SERS

Supervisor: Building Principal
 
Job Objective:
Performs a variety of tech support. Provide non-academic support to ensure opportunity and access to each
and every student.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Ohio Department of Education Student Monitor Permit.
Documentation of a clear criminal record.
 
Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
1. Work with district Educational Technology administration and building media specialist to manage the
district’s One-to-One Technology Plan
2. Manage the Distribution and Collection of technology devices in accordance with the district One-to-One
Plan
3. Maintain technology device inventory in Resource Management software
4. Basic maintenance including but not limited to, cleaning, updating, and maintaining usability of student
equipment
5. Work with all stakeholders (students, staff, parents/guardians) to troubleshoot minor hardware and
software issues including logins, password resets, etc.
6. Demonstrate knowledge of and/or ability to learn electronic systems in line with the district's One-to-One
plan
7. Demonstrate ability to review software, load new software, and trouble-shoot software problems
8. Promotes the proper use and care of school property. Reports student discipline problems, vandalism, and
other related concerns.
9. Strive to learn emerging technologies independently and through training as directed
10. Prepares classroom equipment for student/teacher use (e.g., Chromebooks, carts, media resources, etc.)
11. Respects personal privacy. Maintains the confidentiality of privileged information
12. Upholds board policies, follows administrative procedures and complies with the Employee Code of
Conduct. Upholds computer technology acceptable use policies
13. Promotes a favorable image of the school district
14. Model and enforce legal and ethical use of technology. Promote proper use of school property
15. Maintains high standards and upholds the student conduct code
16. Reports evidence of suspected child abuse as required by law
17. Participates in meetings and professional growth opportunities as directed, as well as actively pursues
professional growth and development
18. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions and conduct
19. Wears appropriate work attire and maintains a professional appearance
20. Strives to develop rapport and serve as a positive role model for others
21. Performs other specific job-related duties as directed
