Leavenworth U.S.D. #453 is currently seeking applications for a Kindergarten Teacher. Applicants should hold or be eligible for a valid Kansas teaching license with an Elementary Education, Early-Late Childhood Generalist, or Early Childhood Unified (K-3 classes only) endorsement. Earl Lawson Early Education Center has been under construction and renovation to bring a new, state of the art facility online for our early learners to enjoy in the 2021-22 school year. Candidates can expect that the EEC will operate under an amended school calendar, with the 186 contract days for teachers distributed across the year from August through June.
