Job Description

What You Will Do:

Clinical: The Clinical Director will provide clinical training and consultation to the Culturally competent Campus Clinical Supervisors as needed. The Clinical Director will also provide monthly training to Campus Clinicians to ensure best practices are being met. The Clinical Director will work closely with the Medical Director to facilitate clinical rounds on all acute cases as well as ensure all clinical compliance standards are being met by completing regular medical chart reviews. The Clinical Director will be responsible for providing on-call coverage in a rotation with Clinical Supervisors.
Training/Consultation: Provide input and consultation to program staff on a daily basis and in rounds meetings. Provide trainings for residential staff. Responsible for conducting clinical trainings in program staff meetings. Oversees the implementation Substance Abuse Intervention, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion training and training in Motivational Interviewing & Trauma training on Campus.
Liaison: Provide communication with families as needed. Sits on Agency Clinical Quality Committee (as well as Clinical risk meetings). Communication and facilitation with emergency screening teams and referral sources around crisis intervention. The Clinical Director will work closely with the Billing Department to ensure accuracy with insurance authorizations/reviews.
Management: The Campus Clinical Director will directly supervise graduate level interns and provide direct supervision to clinicians in the absence of a Clinical Supervisor. The Clinical Director will work collaboratively with Program Directors, the Medical Director and the Nursing Supervisor on Campus.

Ability to apply knowledge of all licensing regulations and Agency policies.
Fiscal management skills by managing staff and program expenses (i.e. ability to manage census and overall program expenses).

    • Minimum Requirements

      Minimum Education: Master’s degree
      Minimum Work Experience: Must be in the field for a minimum of 10 years
      Licensure: LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC required
