Job Description

We're looking for an exceptional School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position in Arlington Heights, IL who can start immediately and work through January 28th. This therapist will work 6-7 hours per day working with grades 9th-12th. The caseloads are reading groups for students with specific learning disabilities and sees students 1:1 minutes and life skill classrooms and sees 1:1 students for reading (comprehension).


Job Requirements for School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA):

Desire to bring life-giving excellence to school-aged children
1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience as a SLPA (Speech Language Pathologist Assistant) within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license or credential in the state of practice, or ability to obtain one
State School Services Credential where required

    Job Requirements

    • Valid State certification or license granting authorization to practice
      CCC’s
      Background check and/or fingerprinting
      Current TB test
      Any additional requirements as outlined by state or school district
      Experience in schools a plus

    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
